On October 14, 2023, the Council of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) unanimously passed Resolution No. 132/NQ-HĐT, appointing Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hieu Giang as the Acting President of the university. The appointment will be effective from November 1, 2023, to October 31, 2024.

The resolution, adopted during a council meeting on the same day, was conducted under the guidance of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Party Committee of Universities and Colleges in Ho Chi Minh City. The meeting was presided over by Mr. Vu Minh Duc, the head of the Council. Notably, the resolution was passed with unanimous support, receiving a 100% vote.

Resolution No. 132/NQ-HĐT, dated October 14, 2023, stands as a testament to the unwavering dedication and remarkable achievements of the university's leaders, lecturers and staff . This resolution provides a strong foundation for the university's growth in the upcoming phase.
