On September 6, 2023, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with ABB Automation & Electrification Ltd. in the meeting room I of the university.

According to the collaboration agreement, the company, in conjunction with the university, will organize seminars on Robot technology, enhance research in AI simulation, provide updates on modern technologies for students majoring in Robotics & Artificial Intelligence, and expand opportunities for annual enterprise exposure and internships at the company. With many years of experience in the field of Robotics, understanding the difficulties and challenges in teaching from theory to practice, the company has sponsored the university with the RobotStudio software package from ABB, valued at VND 12 billion. This sponsorship aims to support the easy design, simulation, and programming with ABB's RAPID language, optimizing the speed and precision of the robot, as well as evaluating the performance and feasibility of a robot system in the RobotStudio environment before real-world deployment.

After the signing ceremony, representatives from the Technical Committee of the Robot and Automation Plant, ABB Automation & Electrification Ltd., exchanged ideas and provided knowledge to HCMUTE students about the simulation platform of Robotics and AI through the seminar "Robotics & AI Driving the Next Generation of Flexible Automation." The seminar shared insights into the future development of AI and allowed students to experience the virtual simulation space of Robot using ABB's RAPID language in practical terms.
