3. FUNCTIONS
Advanced Power Electronics OPEN-LAB supports students to:
-
research theory of advanced power electronics;
-
use PSIM, MATLAB software to simulate power electronic circuits;
-
do experiment on inverter circuits, DC-DC and AC-AC converters
Figure 1: Students do extensive research into the theory of advanced power electronics, and simulate power electronic circuits by PSIM, MATLAB software
Open-Lab is also for undergraduate and postgraduate educational purpose and scientific research for lecturers and students by project works. In future, Open-Lab will access fellows to research about multilevel inverters, Advanced Rectifiers.
