On the afternoon of May 17, 2023, at Meeting Room II,  the final round of the AIoT Developer InnoWorks 2022 Application Development Contest (referred to as AIoT InnoWorks 2022) was organized.  With the development of a Health Management System for the elderly, the AI Gang Gang team won the Champion of the competition and  got the award of VND 40 million and the championship trophy.

The contest was launched in December 2022 and included 4 rounds. At the Final round, there were 06 competition teams: Predator, GigaSir, AIoT Squad, Mecha Cobra, AI Gang Gang. All the  teams presented their projects to the board of judges.

As a result, the health management system for the elderly of AI Gang Gang team won the Champion of the contest and got the award of 40 million VND and the championship trophy. The product of AI Gang Gang is a wearable device. It aims at people over 70 years old to help users, relatives, and doctors to recognize cardiovascular abnormalities and offer appropriate treatment plans, minimizing the risk of death.

Then ES team with the project of Intelligent Traffic Management System won the second prize and got 20 million VND. The GigaSir team with the project of Smart delivery locker system won the third prize with 13 million VND. 03 Consolation prizes belong to the teams Predator (Voice Search Artificial Intelligence Robot), AIoT Squad (Smart Application in Healthcare), Mecha Cobra (Employee's Emotion Recognition System in the factory) with a bonus of 8 million VND per team.

At the end of the final round, the jury also selected two best projects, namely AI Gang and The ES team, to participate in the intercollegiate round with University of Science and Technology, VNU-HCM and Vietnamese-German University on June 23, 2023.

The AIoT InnoWorks Competition in Vietnam is sponsored by Advantech Vietnam Company for the first time in 2019 and the second time in 2021. After 02 times, in 2022, the AIoT InnoWorks Contest will have 03 universities for the first time in 2022 to be selected to organize in the same year, including: Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education, University of Science and Technology, VNU-HCM and Vietnam-German University. 2022 is also the first year that there will be an intercollegiate AIoT InnoWorks Final round to find the best team from excellent teams representing three universities.

The AIoT InnoWorks 2022 competition is organized with the aim of promoting the development and training of high-quality human resources in the field of IoT, promoting the spirit of creativity and entrepreneurship among students in the strategic direction of “Made in Vietnam”. ". The contest will create opportunities for students to approach and work directly with the WISE-PaaS technology platform – an integrated IoT service platform built and developed by Advantech Corporation. From there,  students find out their ideas about IoT and AI applications in the fields of: Smart Manufacturing & Connecting Machines, Smart Cities, Smart Health & Healthcare and Energy & Environment.
