2. Functions
The Signal and Image Processing (SIP) Lab at HCMUTE was established in 2005 to support graduate and undergraduate research in various aspects of signal and image processing. The lab is used to organize the undergraduate-student courses of digital signal processing practice. The lab also provides space for several graduate students. The SIP Lab current research thrusts are: (i) Development and implementation of signal and image processing algorithms on platforms, (ii) Biomedical signal and image analyses.
3. Equipments
The SIP Lab is equipped with the following hardware implementation platforms: TMS320C6713 Starter kits (225 MHz platforms, 12 boards), TMS320C6416 Starter kits (1 GHz platforms, 2 boards), TMS320DM6437 EVM kits (600 MHz Digital Video Development Platforms, 4 boards), and 10 computers.
