In 06/12/2014, with the atmosphere of Noel and Lunar New Year, HCMUTE-FEEE organized the 2nd LED Cercuit Design Competition 2014. The jury is based on the criteria: technology, aesthetics, meaning and presentation of products. In the final round of the competition, 29 teams participated in a wide range of products, both in terms of size and design.
     The students who participated in many creative spots also created unique products. Therefore, the jury gave more encouraging prizes to expand the playing field, stimulate passion for the qualified products that meet the requirements. Many conundrums have been raised about specialized knowledge in power savings, technical safety and usage effects. The competition also attracts the 2nd year students with many interesting products. The 4-hour competition includes product presentation and answering the questions from the jury. On behalf of the organizing committee, Mr. Nguyen Thoi said: "The new application technologies in the competition include: LED Control Technology, Rotary LED Scan Technology, LED 3D with Microcontroller Series PIC 16F887, 18F4550; DSPIC 16Bits; BIT 32; 89S51; ... "
      This year's LED Cercuit Design Competition brought the theme: Family. LED has many applications in life besides bringing the joy of family in New Year 2015 atmosphere. Students away from home sent the products to test the emotions to relatives and family. The "happy home" products appear with the finalists bring many features of European-Asian architecture with artificial snow, pine tree next to the model of traditional houses in Vietnam and family photos.
As results, the first prize of the competition belongs to the team SPDTTT (94.4 points), the second prize: Win - Win team (93.4 points), third prize: Triple B (88.6 points), the encouraging prize: KBD, Blue Sky, Pic - Easier 1, The Dream, Begin, Family is No. 1, 121423 SPKT.
