- - Graduates can perform high levels at work while adhering to ethical and professional standards.
- - Graduates continuously expand their knowledge and skills through professional activities and training in the design, development, and manufacturing process in the automation and control engineering technology field.
The career opportunities of ACET students are to become a technical expert or designer in automation and control engineering. They can also work as a sales engineer as well as an industrial maintenance engineer, or they can work in the ACET education organizations.

Vu Van Phong received the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Central University, Taiwan in 2017. Currently, he is Lecturer of Automatic Control Department at the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Ho Chi Minh
City University of Technology and Education.
Research interests: Intelligent Control system; Fuzzy Control; Observer Design; Uncertain T-S fuzzy system; Polynomial T-S fuzzy system; Large-scale system.

Tran Vi Do, Ph.D.
Deputy Head of Department

Tran Vi Do received the Master degree in Electrical Engineering from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education, Vietnam, in 2015. He finished his PhD degree in BioRobotics at the BioRobotics Institute, Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa, Italy, in 2019.
His research interests are in the fields of rehabilitation robotics, assistive technologies and human-robot interaction.

Assoc. Prof. Le Chi Kien received the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Nagaoka University of Technology, Japan in 2005. Currently, he is Vice Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE), Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE).
Research interests: MagnetoHydroDymanics (MHD), High efficiency power generation system, Plasma Dynamics, Combined power generation system, Gas turbine and Steam turbine power system.

Assoc.Prof., Dr. Ngo Van Thuyen
|
Associate Professor Ngo Van Thuyen finished his PhD degree in Electrical Engineering at University of Technology Sydney, Australia in 2008. Before being promoted as Chairman of University Council in May 2017, he had taken head of Department, Vice Dean, Director of International Education Exchange Center, Head of Research Management and International Relations Office, Vice President. Currently he is the Chairman of the University Council.
Assoc.Prof. Thuyen is an alumnus of HEEAP cohort 2010. He has actively participated in many training activities, particularly in teaching and learning, quality assurance, and leadership. He is currently a national certified accreditor and an AUN-QA (ASEAN University Network – Quality Assurance) lead assessor.

Ta Van Phuong received B.S degree in electrical engineering from HCMC university, the M.S. degree in automatic control from the HCMC University of Transport. He finished his PhD degree in Automation Control at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport. His research interests are Fuzzy, NNs, CMAC and robust control. Nguyen Thi Yen Tuyet received the B.E. degree in Industrial Electricity Engineering from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education in 1991. From 1996 to 1998, she enrolled in advanced class for vocational lecturers in Gross Gerau, Germany. From 2005 to 2006 engaged in Pedagogical Master Program in Magdeburg, Germany. Tran Phi Vu received the B.E. degree in Automation and Control Engineering from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in 2010, the M.S. degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand, in 2015. From 2010 to 2012, he was a Lecturer in the Department of Automation and Control Engineering, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. In 2015, he was an Assistant Workshop Trainer for Automation Course at the Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand. Since 2016, he has been a PhD student in Aerospace Engineering at the University of New South Wales, Canberra, Australia and a Research Assistant at the School of Engineering and Information Technology.

Nguyen Van Thai, Ph.D.

Nguyen Van Thai was born in Quang Ngai, Vietnam in 1976. He is currently working as a full lecturer and researcher in the Department of Automation Control of Hochiminh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE). He received his bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from HCMUTE, and master degree in Automation Technology from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (BKU), Vietnam. He received his Ph.D. degree in Automation Technology from National Taipei University of Technology,
Taipei, Taiwan.
His research interest includes 2D&3D Image Processing, data registration, 3D Mapping, Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM), and Autonomous Mobile Robot System, Robotics, SCADA, Artificial Intellegence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT).
