Senior Embedded Hardware/Firmware Engineer
Homa Technology Inc. is a start-up company founded by Vietnam Education Foundation
(VEF) Alumnus working to revolutionize products in the area of Home Automation and
A.I Video Surveillance System. We are looking for talented Embedded Hardware and
Firmware Engineers who have a passion in developing beautifully engineered artificial
intelligence system for home security and automation.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Engineer is able to lead embedded hardware/firmware design efforts for cutting-edge
home automation, security and safety products. Responsibilities include requirement
derivation, conceptual hardware/firmware development, prototype for production
development, and hands-on application integration and test. Successful candidates will
have:
Over 5 years of embedded systems/firmware design experience
Proven success in meeting design requirements on schedule and within budget
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Qualifications:
o Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or
Computer Science.
o 5+ years of embedded system hardware/firmware design experience
o Digital and analog circuit experience
Experienced with ARM processors and Atmel Microcontrollers
Familiar with communication interfaces/protocols: SPI, I2C, USB, UART,
Ethernet, TCP/IP, MQTT
Knowledgeable for wireless communications: WiFi, Zigbee and Bluetooth.
Proficient in C or C++ programming
Proficiency with PCB Design and Tools: Orcad, Allegro, or Altium
Salary for full-time position: minimum 1,500USD
