Bộ môn Kỹ Thuật Điện Tử Công Nghiệp, tiền thân là Kỹ Thuật Điện Tử (KT
ĐT), thuộc Khoa Điện-Điện Tử, trường ĐH SPKT, TP.HCM (HCMUTE). Bộ môn
KT ĐT có đội ngủ giảng viên giàu kinh nghiệm trong giảng dạy và nghiên
cứu. Hàng năm bộ môn đã đào tạo được khoảng 200 kỹ sư Điện tử để cung
cấp nguồn nhân lực chất lượng cho xã hội và đóng góp một phần không nhỏ
cho sự phát triển của đất nước.
Những hướng phát triển của bộ môn KT ĐT hiện này là Điện tử Công nghiệp,
Điện tử dân dụng, Điện tử Y sinh. Sinh viên của bộ môn KT ĐT có khả năng
thiết kế những hệ thống hay tạo ra những sản phẩm máy móc để phục vụ
trong công nghiệp và dân dụng. Cụ thể, là những kỹ sư có thể chế tạo
những thiết bị điều khiển thông minh sử dụng trong gia đình, các chương
trình để điều khiển dây chuyền trong công nghiệp, các ứng dụng điều khiển
dùng điện thoại di động và các hệ thống nhận dạng té ngã, xe lăn điện thông
mính, thiết bị y tế gia đình và xử lý những tín hiệu và hình ảnh y sinh phục
vụ trong y tế.
Department of Industrial Electronics, formerly known as Electronics
Engineering (EE), Faculty of Electrical-Electronics Engineering, University of
Technical Education, HCM City (HCMUTE). The EE department has
experienced lecturers in teaching and research, the department annually
trains about 200 Electronics engineers who are qualified human resources to
society and may contribute largely for the development of the country.
Directions in development of the department are Industrial Electronics,
Home Electronics and Biomedical Electronics. Students of the department
have the ability to design systems and to create machine products in order
to serve in industry and family. In particular, the engineers could build home
intelligent control devices, programs for control of industrial machines,
applications in mobile phones, systems for fall identity, smart electric
wheelchairs, home biomedical devices and bio-signal and –image processing
for healthcare.
